Traditional Georgian PDO wine made from Saperavi grapes cultivated in the strictly regulated micro-zone of Kindzmarauli, Kvareli district, Kakheti, Eastern Georgia.   The color of the wine is ruby red. It offers a delicate, full, velvety taste with a long finish and a typical varietal bouquet. The wine goes well with roasted or grilled meat. Serving suggestions also include desserts and fruits.

Alcohol: 12%

Taste: Delicate raspberry taste with good presence of tannins and lingering finish

Serving temperature: 14-16⁰C

Vinification

Selected grapes are picked at 24-26% of sugariness and 7-8 of titratable acidity. After removing the stems and de-pressing, the clear juice is removed from the sediment and moved to fermentation reservoirs. The fermentation proceeds at a low temperature of 18-22°C. As soon as the sugar level goes down to 7-5%, the wine gets cooled to stop the fermentation and after filtration gets stored at -2°C
