Traditional Georgian PDO wine made from Saperavi grapes cultivated in the strictly regulated micro-zone of Mukuzani, Gurjaani district, Kakheti, Eastern Georgia.  The color of the wine is dark ruby. It offers a pronounced aroma and a noble, exquisite taste of berries. The wine goes well with roasted or grilled meat.

Wine Composition: 100% Saperavi from Mukuzani micro-zone

Alcohol: 13%

Taste: Black fruits and berries, with notes of black pepper  

Serving temperature: 16-18⁰C

Vinification

Selected grapes are picked at 20-22% of sugariness and 6-8 of titratable acidity. After removing the stems and de-pressing, fermentation proceeds at a 23-28°C in stainless steel reservoirs. Following 12-15 day maceration, the wine is moved to French oak barrels for 9-12 months aging
